Reassigning a LoA
This feature only applies if each person on your team has their own 4admin login. If your firm shares a single login, there is only one "user" on the account and nothing to reassign between people.
You can hand off an individual LoA to another team member from the LoA settings panel — or, in one click, hand off every LoA belonging to that client and that owner.
Who can do this?
- Admins — for any LoA in the organisation
- The current owner — for their own LoAs
Full data access alone does not allow reassigning other users' LoAs.
How to reassign a single LoA
- Open the LoA from the LoAs list
- Click the settings (cog) button in the top-right
- Scroll to the Owner section at the bottom of the settings modal
- You'll see Currently assigned to the owner's name (or you if you own it)
- Click Reassign owner
- In the modal Re-assign owner: client name, pick the new owner
- Click Reassign
How to reassign every LoA for a client at once
In the reassign modal, tick Apply to every LoA for "this client" before clicking Reassign. This moves all LoAs that share the same client name AND the same current owner to the new owner — useful when a colleague takes over a client and you don't want to move them one by one.
The success toast shows how many records were moved.
After reassignment
If you were the previous owner and you don't have Full data access, you'll be sent back to the LoAs list because you no longer have visibility on the LoA you just moved.
