Overview
Everything in this section only applies if each member of your team logs in with their own 4admin account. If your firm uses a single shared login that everybody on the team signs into, there are no separate "users" to manage — all work sits against that one account and there is nothing to reassign or transfer between people. If you'd like to move from a shared login to individual logins (so you can use ownership reassignment, audit who did what, and safely off-board leavers), contact us at support@4admin.co.uk and we'll help you migrate.
User & Access Management lets account administrators on Growth and Enterprise plans with individual user logins:
- Add and remove team members on the shared subscription
- Set each user's access level (own data, all org data, admin)
- Reassign ownership of clients (and the policies inside them) to another user
- Reassign ownership of a single LOA, or every LOA for a given client
- Safely delete a user by handing off their work to other users first, so nothing is orphaned
Who Can Manage Users?
Only account administrators can add or remove users and reassign ownership across the organisation. If you don't see user management in Settings, contact your administrator.
Two different flags govern what a user can see and do — they are distinct:
- Admin — can add/remove users, change access levels, and reassign ownership of any policy or LOA across the organisation.
- Full data access — can view all clients and LOAs across the organisation, but cannot reassign other people's records or manage users.
Plain users (no admin, no full-data-access) can still reassign their own records.
