Letters of Authority
Letters of Authority (LOAs) in 4admin let you send signed LOAs to providers, track every reply in one place, chase automatically, and turn the documents you get back into policy analyses without leaving the platform.
Availability
LOAs are available on plans that include them. If you don't see the LoAs group in your sidebar and would like it added, click Email Support in the top left of this site or email support@4admin.co.uk.
Where to find it
Once LOAs are enabled, your sidebar has a LoAs group with two pages:
| Sidebar item | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Submissions | Submit LOAs, see every LOA on a Kanban board or list, and open individual LOA records |
| Smart Inbox | Every email that lands in your LOA mailbox, matched to the right LOA automatically where possible |
Firms with LOAs land on Submissions when they sign in.
The LOA workflow
- Submit. Upload a signed LOA. 4admin reads it, finds the provider, plan number and client, and emails the provider using your template. If the provider doesn't accept email, record it as a post or portal submission instead. A letter that lists several plans is split into one submission per plan.
- Track. Each LOA moves through Submitted, Provider Replied, Info Received, Analysed or Rejected. Auto-chasers follow up on your behalf, and every reply, chaser, call and change is logged on the record's timeline.
- Receive. Provider replies are matched to the right LOA as they arrive, including attachments and many password-protected files. Anything 4admin can't place is waiting for you in the Smart Inbox.
- Analyse. When the information is in, create a policy analysis straight from the LOA record, or add the new documents to an analysis you already have.
